In just a few short weeks, we will wake up on the island of Tortola and begin our journey to Jost Van Dyke! I have never been so excited. Jost Van Dyke is our dream destination. It is the reason we found Vieques. From all the pictures, videos, etc. that I have seen online, the two spots are very similar.
The only thing we have left to do is to pack. All of our arrangements have been made and confirmed. We even have a dinner reservation for the first night in Tortola! So pictures will come soon!

ReplyDeleteI met a guy on Vieques one time that has been sailing the BVI's for years. They rent a large catamaran with a some friends of theirs. They even hired a captain the first few times they went out. He told me about how beautiful it is. They now have no need for a captain and take it out themselves. Here's the place they use:
